Cancellation Policy

To ensure the continued health of our company, we have revised our cancellation policy. During and following the pandemic, we ceased charging clients who cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice due to illness. While we believe this was the correct course of action for a period of time, it is no longer sustainable and we must charge even in the event of illness. Our new policy is effective immediately and is outlined here:

Our time together is important. If you need to cancel your appointment, please let us know at least 24- hours before the appointment time. If 24-hour notice is not given, Bergamot Massage Therapy & Bodywork, LLC will apply the full-service fee to the credit card on file, even in the event of sickness, NO EXCEPTIONS! Gift certificates, series, and membership prepaids may be used for the service fee. We do send out appointment reminders, but our system is not infallible, and we encourage you to write or enter your appointment information into your own calendar. Failure to receive automated appointment reminders does not absolve the client of monetary responsibility for any missed appointments.

Finnish Sauna Cancellation Policy

Unless there is an emergency, we require 4 hours notice of cancellation. If a 4 hour notice is not given, Bergamot Massage Therapy & Bodywork, LLC reserves the right to issue a half charge of the Finnish Sauna booked as a late cancellation fee. If a cancellation is made less than 4 hours on the day of your scheduled appointment or you do not show, the full-service fee will be applied. Please call and speak to a member of the Bergamot staff to cancel or reschedule any appointments. Gift certificates, series, and membership prepaids may be used for a cancellation fee for cancellations with less than 4 hours notice, Gift certificates may also be forfeited for no shows.
